This Privacy Policy describes how SyncFi Technologies™, a subsidiary of Hassi International LLC ("SyncFiTech," "we"), handles information in connection with this website (SyncFiTech.com) and the SyncWorld services, including SyncFi and SynCloud. Our governing doctrine is Zero Data Sharing: you share; we never do. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information — the details you provide to create and sign in to an account, such as your email address.
- Contact information — what you send us through the contact form on this website: your name, email address, subject, and message.
- Files and content — the files and content you choose to store or send through the services. Files held in SynCloud are encrypted; the services are built so that transfers finish on the device and network you have.
- Device and diagnostic information — limited technical information needed to operate the services, pair your devices, and troubleshoot failures.
- Transaction information — where a paid service applies, the records needed to bill and to keep receipts. Payment itself is processed by our payment provider; we do not operate our own payment rails and we do not hold wallet balances.
- Website usage information — this website is served without advertising trackers. Standard server logs record the technical minimum required to deliver pages securely.
3. How Information Is Collected
Information reaches us in three ways: directly from you (account creation, the contact form, the files you choose to store or send); generated through your use of the services (device pairing and transfer records needed to complete a send); and through integrations you authorize on your own accounts.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the services, complete your transfers, keep your account and devices secure, provide support, troubleshoot failures, and communicate with you about the services. We do not use your files or content to advertise, and we do not build advertising profiles.
5. Data Storage and Security
Security is the first doctrine of this company: when speed, simplicity, and security are in tension, security does not lose. Files stored in SynCloud are encrypted, and account access is protected by sign-in controls. No system can honestly promise perfection, and we do not claim certifications we have not earned; we describe our measures as they are and improve them continuously.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
Zero Data Sharing is our rule. We do not sell personal information. Information moves only in these cases: service providers who process it strictly on our behalf to run the services; integrations you have authorized; sharing that you yourself direct — when you send a file or a link, the recipient you chose receives what you sent; and disclosure required by law, where we disclose only what the law compels. User-directed sharing is yours; company-directed disclosure does not happen.
7. Retention and Deletion
We keep account information while your account is active. Files you delete are removed from active storage; residual copies in backups are cycled out in the ordinary course of backup rotation. Where the law requires a record to be kept, we keep only that record for the required period. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your information except where retention is legally required.
8. User Rights and Choices
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccuracies, and deletion of your information, subject to legal obligations. Use the contact route in Section 13 and we will respond to verified requests.
9. Cookies and Website Technologies
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics scripts. The embedded film player is provided by YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode; YouTube may set its own cookies when you play the film, under Google's policies. Your browser settings let you control cookies at any time.
10. International Data Transfers
The services are operated from the United States. If you use them from another country, your information is processed in the United States under this policy and applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
The services are intended for account holders of legal age to contract. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; family content stored by an account holder remains under that account holder's control.
12. Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will be drawn to account holders' attention through the services.
